The brave

What a wonderful new concept, word, idea.

Much nicer than the word I have been meaning to look for, which means "to kill oneself with work" - Karōshi.

Then there is Wabi Sabi. Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect. Wiki: "If an object or expression can bring about, within us, a sense of serene melancholy and a spiritual longing, then that object could be said to be wabi-sabi."  

And so we repair the past with gold, we practice kintsukuroi on our memories, accepting the fact that nothing will ever be perfect but that is no reason for not honouring our experience, through writing-singing-painting-dancing, to avoid Karoshi and  create Wabi-Sabi.

I hope Scotland doesn't vote in favour of independence.
